A year and a day

They sailed away for a year and a day...
and I've been blogging for a year and a day.
151 posts doesn't make a post a day,
but it's a new angle every three days.
I shall now celebrate by updating my template.

That is a brilliant demonstration of Pooh Persistence. Congratulations.
Is that a 'Bong' tree I see in the background, a sure sign of having arrived in the right place after a year and a day. (Which phrase comes from the Druidic law of contract and was usually included in the earlier forms of handfasting ceremonies - hence its usage in the saga of the owl and the pussy-cat who were married by the hermit who lived on the hill - and the word hermit derives from Hermes - and hermetic law is closely related to druidic law.

Thank you Crowbard, I shall now go and Google Hermes.
Love to all. Pooh.

Bless you Pooh,
Google Mercury and Mercurius as well, Hermes was directly linked to him and I sometimes wonder if Moses (who lifted up the serpent in the wilderness)wasn't the same guy. (and Hermes Trismagestis also provides an interesting but much more recent field of study)

Silly afterthought - if a document was stamped with the sigil of Mercury - would it be hermetically sealed?

Don't get too smart and put me to shame. BTW I now see MOTH is not man of the hour - close.
Congrats on your first year and keep on going.

Thank you Crowbard and Pat.
MOTH= the Man Of The House, what with a wife and two daughters, he gets thoroughly spoilt ;)
