Oh dear Amy you are so up to date, I couldn't make out why an historic American baseball star would figure as a witches poppet. Presumably the candy bar was named after the much vaunted Babe Ruth.
George Herman Ruth ('Babe' Ruth) 1895 - 1948. Famous American baseball player. I believe baseball is rather similar to rounders. Americans play it instead of cricket, poor dears. Presumably the sweets are named after this player. Regards, Pa.

Hello Nea - Baby Ruth's an American candy bar - similar to ye olde Topic bar, and nothing to do with little Poohs.
BTW, happy birthday!

Hello Amy,
Thank you for your help. I was a little concerned there, but now I realize that they're going to eat the baby, I feel so much better ;)
It had me confused too, U.C.
