Birthday Pictures
They made me chocolate balls for breakfast and laid the table with just napkins, so I wouldn't have to do any washing up on my birthday. Thank you Miss. T and Strawberry. We are going to try and head for the woods today. Back on Sunday.
Hi Pi, Why can't Pooh speak to the MOTH? (He can be quite strange at times, I distinctly remember him tying me up on his roof when I was his guest.) But you are so right about Miss.T. and Strawberry.
Hi Pooh, Beautiful photography. That sounds like a long 4 day hike to the woods, but I suppose that includes the return journey. Won't your fire have gone out before you get back with the logs? Love barmy old nuncle C
You're right Crowbard, he can be a bit strange sometimes, but I seem to remember him tying you up for your own good, not that it helped much ;) But we're still very grateful for our chimney, without it we wouldn't have survived last night. There was a power cut, the temperature was down to minus 8 and there was a strong north-westerly wind blowing.
And we nearly didn't make the return journey, because when the power came back we blew three fuses and I almost electrocuted myself twice. We could smell the electricity in the air; a bit scarey in a timber house with nearest fire brigade at least half an hour away.
Thank you Pat, they will. Back from the woods early because the freezer sort of blew up. (It made a large banging noise and flashed me twice. I thought it was the fridge at first or I wouldn't have let it have a second go.) So I have had to empty the freezer in the woods, after finally pulling the plug on it, and move all the berries, fish and elk meat into town. Will be returning to woods shortly when the MOTH awakes from his afternoon nap.

You are sooooo lucky to have two beautiful daughters. They will always be with you. Enjoy the wooda and don't speak to any strange men.
