We saw some French biathlon fans wearing hats like this at a World Cup competition here in town a few years ago and after that all Strawbs really wanted was a chicken hat for her birthday. Just a few days before her birthday I found one in the local Art material shop where they also do fancy dress costumes etc.
That is a noble and venerable piece of head-gear young Strawbs. I am deeply envious and full of admiration for the Chutzpah and Pzazz with which it bedecks your beauteous brow. Galea pullus commodus tuam, decus et tutamen est.

By the way, had you noticed there is a horse looking in the window to admire your chapeau. He looks really quite interested!
