Sorry, I have not been a very active blogger recently.
I have given precedence to other dear ones for some time now, but I haven't forgotten any of you.
My in-laws have been close neighbours ever since I married and moved to Sweden 23 years ago and I have always felt welcomed and loved by them. Saturday March 19th, after several months of illness, my father-in-law passed on. The funeral was held last Friday.
My mother-in-law says that he was the best husband she could have had. I know he was the best father-in-law I could have had.

Nea,
So sorry to hear about your father-in-law. It sounds like he was loved by all.
PS Thanks for visiting. Ariana has your link on her blog (All About Cookie). You can find her link on my blog.
Bergier was a friendly, hospitable, man; and meeting him was always a great pleasure.
I'm afraid I can't recall meeting Begier (Probably my memory is at fault) but I understand fathers often take after their sons, and I have always held his son in the utmost admiration.
My condolences to you and all your family, especially your mother-in-law whom I recall as Grette, but I may have got confused again...
Big hugs to your rocketing great babes, it is very considerate of you to keep them behind wire fencing... it stops the bears getting too frightened when they bounce!
Big Hugs to you and the MOTH too,
GUC
Pooh, I feel awful as I have not made contact in such a long time - I am Sorry.
Hope you are all keeping well and that Lasse, his mother and sister are all bearing up ( very English phrase isn't it ? )
Hope you and girls are also remembering the good bits and forgetting the sad bits.
Much Love Sarah
You're right Lori, he was,
and as you say Ma n Pa, a very sociable person with a sense of humour who never let the language barrier get in his way.
Thank you GUC, and big sis, for your kind thoughts too, we have a lot to be thankful for.
