Taken today on a long walk with the dog. We stopped for a drink from a spring. The water was a little cold.
Trying to capture the hound in the same image didn't work this time. She's so fast and my phone camera is so slow, but here's her nose and Miss T decorating the background. The two pictures above were taken last weekend on the ice, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. The days are starting to get lighter.
This is Strawberry about to eat the moon, she's still convinced it's made from cheese thanks to Wallace and Gromit.

Wensleydale, I believe. (but I'm not good at science).
According to Wallace and Gromit it was Wensleydale, but I'm not sure about their scientific qualifications either.
I especially love that last shot! It looks like your dog is doing very well. Don't you think it would be a great idea for your family, Mom and Dad to come over an visit us at Skoog Farm?``
Iced water from the spring? You all must be very hardy.
While I sympathise with Wallace being a Yorkshire man who enjoys a fine Wensleydale cheese, I cannot stand by whilst he usurps the moon to his parochial promotional purposes. It has been scientifically established that the moon exhibits a cheesoidal transmogryfication from Red Leicester when she is low on the horizon to Blue Stilton when she sails high at her zenith. You only have to observe carefully to confirm the obvious. As a resident of Leicestershire and unbiased expert on both these famous local cheeses I consider it an honour (but a dreadful waste) to have our prize products peregrinating our night skies.
But you do admit, Crowbard, that Stilton is at the zenith of cheeses?
I was in an underground food market in Stockholm some years ago, and followed my nose to a huge cheese stall, where, at the apex of a vast pyramid of cheeses, was a quarter of a cheese labelled :- the king of cheeses - STILTON.
And this, mark you, from the Swedish, whose taste in food matters, as in most matters, I admire enormously.
Regretably Mike, whilst defering to your acclamation of Stilton as Rex Caseiorem, I prefer it as an occasional treat to be nibbled reverently and sparingly while reserving the finest of Red Leicesters (The Welland Valley Dairy herd)as the crowning delight of toast, sandwiches, salads and ploughmen's lunches to be consumed in trencherman sized chunks. Truly Imperator Caseiorem!!!

Hi Ariana!
Of course I remember you and I've added your blog to my links.
Thank you, Pat. I had a quick look. It looks good, but I'm still in love with my tent.
Pa and UC, for me you're both right, it just depends on what mood I'm in and what's available to go with it. Fortunately there are as many moods as there are cheeses and I love all of them in their own way.
Lori, they should! How about an exchange visit?
I suppose the moon was yummy:)
