Thank you Nea and girls! Same to you.
It looks very bright and beautiful over there.

Lovely photoes, as always, Nea. Please tell Freja to cut with, rather than against, the grain; if she can.
P.s. If you get a moment, have a look at 4Ds latest blog. He's got problems.
Love, Papa and Granny.

A sharp knife and no rush is the best way to learn whittling skills. Little by little and gently does it. Patience is better than plasters. Mastery is better than never trying.

Good to see Miss T. is having a rattling good time!

Her camera & tripod look just like a football rattle...

Hi Lori! This is my favourite time of year, the sun is starting to warm things up, but we still have plenty of snow and ice to play with.

Will do, Papa and Granny.

Thanks Pat. I don't worry too much about the knife, the MOTH gave both girls a knife for their eighth birthdays and a course in how to use them.

Quite right about the whittling and rattling GUC, and anyway there are so many other dangerous things around, eg I got a nasty paper cut the day before yesterday.
