Happy Easter

This Easter weekend has been hot, almost 20 C in the shade. The bears are up and about, so I made lots of noise walking the dog through the forest this afternoon.

Yesterday in town the Great Lake was still frozen and there's still lots of snow in the mountains, and yet it's so warm.

We put the trampoline up today keeping the girls busy.

Nipa nibbled the old dry grass, holding it daintily between her front paws.

We got our bikes out this week. Strawberry thinks she's big enough to ride mine. I think she should wait another summer.

The ski slope, see behind Strawbs, is still covered in snow, but Spring is definitely here.

I'll bet you are happy to have the warmth.

Lovely pictures, Nea. What are the flowers? Please make sure Strawberry doesn't ride that bike for at least a year. I'm sure she could ride it, but if she has to bail out..............
Looking forward to seeing you all later this week (if only for such a short time) - do admire your energy, you take after your Mama (fortunate female, you!).

Must be weird to have the snow and lake frozen still.
I love those blue flowers. Lovely photos. Have a safe trip.

Nea 'The Man in the Wooden Hat' is almost better than Old FIlTH.

Hi Lori, the heat always seems so intense after 6 months of sub zero.

Don't worry grandparents, she won't be using it for another year and then she'll have to wear a helmet, it's the law here. The flowers are blÄsippor or anemone hepatica

I loved Old Filth, Pat, thank you for recommending it. Now I'm off to order The Man in the Wooden Hat!
