Hats and woolies
We've had to buy new thermal underwear for the girls; they're growing so fast. Miss T looks me straight in the eye at the moment. Any day soon, she'll be looking down on me.
Good morning! It looks like the girls have grow a lot! How is teaching going this year? It has been very cold here...they say close to 20 degrees below normal. What is the temperature in Sweden. Hope all is well. Lori
Hi Ruth. Glad to hear the girls are now big and strong. They'll be able to help you with the move. It's likely to be one of those things that stick in their momories. I can remember very clearly when we moved from The Row to Lake avenue in 1950. Great Uncle Walter brought along his horse and wagon, and we accomplished the move in one journey (the wagon was very fully loaded indeed, with raives fore and aft also fully loaded).
to more modern times :- I can imagine you all rushing to and fro across the landing carrying tottering piles of books, etc. Hope all is going well. Wish we were nearer. Much love, Granny and Pa.
Hi Lori It's cold here too, 15 degrees below freezing (celsius). I'm overwelmed with work at present, so I'm very much looking forward to the winter vacation when I can focus on moving and give work a miss.
Hi Ma'n'Pa We had a look round the new appartment on Friday, and purchased their dishwasher (boo - I like washing up!). It'll be nice with a bit more space and the girls are looking forward to having their own rooms.
