Hell's History

 

Behind this hill in Hell there are images carved into the rock surface that are thousands of years old.

That is absolutely fascinating; but please, Nea, can you tell us what it is a picture of? I find the rock carvings, paintings, and (rather later) rune stones in your area, very interesting indeed. It must have been a much warmer, and better populated, area, some millenia ago than it is now ?

It looks quite cold for Hell.

The carvings represented deer, probably reindeer and they would have been closer to the sea or waterline when they were first made, the rock has risen or the sea level has dropped.

It has been a cold wet summer here, Pat, even in Hell :)
