Happy New Year

Felling the tree on Christmas Eve had to be done quick as the the temperature was minus 30 c. One week later and it's 35 degrees warmer and the snow has all but gone. Weird weather, we had the same temperature on Midsummer's Eve as we do now on New Years Eve.

Hello Nea. I'm glad to hear that we're not the only country that has weird and unpredictable weather.
That photo of the two lumber jacks (or possibly Jills) and a Christmas tree, in snowy surroundings, could be sold as a Christmas Card. It's lovely.

It was a lovely day, but so cold, minus 25 C. We could only stay out for 15-20 minutes at a time. The lumberjs made a good job of it and dressed the tree beautiful once it was in.

What a lovely way to get your Christmas tree.
Belated wishes for a happy healthy year.

Thank you, you too, Pat. It was a bit trickier this year as we have had some forestry machines in taking down quite a few of our fir trees, but the girls managed to find this one hiding between a small rowen and a birch.
