Hi I arrived safely on Friday. Enjoyed the market today,as you can see I was lovely and warm in Ruth's coat and a pair of trousers from a friend of Ruth's.We went on the train both way's the train was very warm, the girls waved to the people out side in the cold, the trees and countryside are absolutely beautiful. This is my first comment Cheers Annie

Not really a comment on your blog. Just a note to congratulate you on winning both games of scrabble, and to tell you I've just started two new games with you. Trust you will allow me to attempt to get my revenge? Look after Mama please.
Much love to all, Pa.

That is one happy Grandma!
BTW Ruth I adored 'True North' and must do some research about Kimberly. What a film it would make - in the right hands. Wish I could write like that.

Sorry we haven't posted much this last week, Pa. It's a really busy time for me... lots of grades to set etc.

Glad you enjoyed True North, Pat, you're right about it making a good film, I bet the setting would be amazing. Have you seen Lasse Hallstrom's film The Shipping News, it's set in the far North but on the East side, Newfoundland? Chocolat is perhaps his most famous film, but I enjoy all of his films. Maybe we could get him to direct True North :)
