As ghosts have been a favourite topic of discussion amongst our almost teenagers this summer we took them to visit a local haunted vicarage.

This young man hung from one of the bedroom walls and it is said he haunts the dreams of those who sleep there, or so I have heard from someone who has.
Waffle? Definitely, as the ones served with cloud berry jam and cream in this haunted house were delicious.

Haunted? What a beautiful place...and delicious looking waffles too.
That vicarage looks pale, washed out, and ghostly, but I wouldn't have thought it would bother you; you were bought up in ancient, creaky houses. Good to see a photo of Beth. Those waffles look really good! But then this family has always had a good line in waffle.
Much love to all, Pa.
Nea that is really weird to eat waffles in a haunted house.
"From ghoulies and ghosties, and long-leggity beasties, and things that go bump in the night, Good Lord preserve us."
I hope you can find a use for this old Cornwall prayer.

Hi Lori, it was beautiful as was its setting, but it's a long way from anywhere.
It didn't really bother us Mike and Ann, but it certainly had atmosphere :) and the "teenagers" were easily spooked ;)
It was a bit odd Pat, and miles off the beaten track too, they also do bed and breakfast for a modest 350 SKR, but I don't think they guarantee a good night's sleep :)
Thanks Jake, I'll remember that one.
I would eat the waffles anyways, haunted or not! They look delicious!
