Hot... well almost

This was actually taken a couple of weeks ago,

when we still had some snow left,

but the temperature and weather were about the same as today,
beautiful blue skies and around 20C.

This bronze is about 8o miles away from where I just spent the weekend. If you look in the same direction as the head you can just see it on the horizon. The trip was quite successful, I didn't lose any students this time, but four of them were not exactly whole when I returned them to their parents. Never the less we all enjoyed the excitement, and the cleaning lady very kindly took care of all the blood stains.

Hello Nea...thanks for the comments. Glad to see some new photos on your site...hope the four students have recovered.
The weather looks much better over there. Tonight it is very chilly here, but we have had quite a bit of sun during the past few days. Plan to go riding tomorrow morning. When is your last day of teaching?

Hi Nea. Good to have you back on blog. Glad to hear you restrained yourself and only injured some of the little darlings this time. No doubt they'll recover. Got Matthew staying this week. I think we're all enjoying it. Much Love, Pa.

My kind of teacher! Blood stains! Yes!!!!

I once drank a teacher under the table at 15 - I was 15 not the teacher. He was about 35. I'd caught him in an amorous embrace with a local lady on a school trip to Cornwall. He bought me beers every night of the trip. I didn't grass him up 'cause he gave me £50 n all.

Teaching seems to be more exciting nowadays than during my brief time in the profession (teaching children, that is). Mind you, the marking doesn't sound like much fun.

Hi Lori, I have one more week together with the students and then another week to tidy up and start planning for the next school year. We start our summer holiday just before the Midsummer celebration.

M&A, I didn't beat them up, they got jumped on by a local gang who took umbrage, at exactly what I haven't exactly ascertained, but I think references might have been made as to the natives possible sexual orientation amongst other things. So they might have asked for it, but head-butting people in the face is still a bit much. Fortunately there were no broken bones just a few nose bleeds and a couple of suspected concussions.

Sorry, Pat, two towels soaked in blood and some blood on a rug. The cleaning lady was a bit shocked, but when I explained that they had been beaten up by the locals, she was very kind about it all.

MSP, I am not paid enough to make mistakes like that ;)

Hi Jake, the grading is the worst part. There are no Exam Boards here so the grades are all down to the individual teacher, it's a big responsibility.
