From Four to Five

This is Nipa our new family member. She is 6 years old and comes from the far North. We had to travel several hundred miles north of the Arctic Circle to find her. She is a Nordic Spitz and the most easy going, gentle creature we could have wished for.

After our thousand mile long trek North in search of Nipa, we are catching up with life here at home and preparing for our trip back to the old country to say farewell to our Great Gran.

Nea...your new dog is beautiful! I can't believe you had to travel so far to get her. She must be very special. Hope all is well. I keep in touch with your Dad very regularly...that was some birthday cake he had! Sorry about Gran.

Her name suits her looks! She looks a nice sharp little dog. Look forward to meeting her in the flesh.
Love, Pa.

Life is made up of joy and sadness. Nipa will give you joy and my deepest sympathy for losing your Great Gran.

I want a dog.

and I'm back.

Either of these things may be a worry.

Thanks Ma and Pa, it was good to come home even if it was only for a few days.

And you're right, her name does suit her, she's very nippy, especially when chasing squirrels.

Thank you Lori, she is very special.

Thank you too Pat. The dog has already more than paid for herself in terms of giving us all joy.

I'm not worried 4D. Go on, get a dog! She really has given the man of the house a huge lift already. And she keeps us all calm and grounded, making sure we get lots of fresh air too.
