Happy Easter!
Easter holidays start today so we're off to the woods to look for the Easter Bunny, well Hare actually, we don't have bunnies here. Back in a few days.
Could you ask Tuva if she's hatched out yet? And also please tell Freja that with a chick on her cheek she looks cheeky. With much love from their grandfather.
Hi Grandfather! No eggs yet from Miss T., but she might be hatching other things. Strawberry's cheeky chick has sadly since vanished. I have warned her about the dangers of washing, but she won't listen.
Pat, next time we see one we'll get you one :)
4D, we kept rabbits when I was growing up. We had to collect dandelion leaves before going to school to feed them and then we'd get home to find Hazel or Thumper being served up for supper. I didn't laugh either!
With you bunch to feed it wasn't Hazel OR Thumper. It was Hazel AND Thumper, AND Peter Rabbit AND one or two of his relations. Very good rabbit pie your Mama made in those days. Much love Granny and Pa.
You're quite right, Nea. I had almost forgotten Mama's ability to divide ANYTHING into seven exactly equal portions. I should think she finds it much easier these days simply to chop things in half. But I think, and I'm sure Ann would agree with me, that the best part of life is when your children are rushing around you and rushing us off our feet. So make the most of it daughter. It really doesn't last long, though it can seem never-ending at the time. Much love, Pa and Granny.

Oh I'd love to have a hat like that.
Just looked again to check her cheek's still chocker with cheeky chucky chick.
Love, Pa.
I told my daughter we were eating rabbit on Easter Sunday and she hit me.
No sense of humour some kids...;-)

I thought Peter was a chicken?
And you're forgetting Mama's amazing ability to divide even a Smartie into seven equal portions ;)
