Ski slope

We are very lucky to have a ski slope just a few minutes away, but some of us don't want to stop skiing to have our photograph taken!
Strawberry has left us for the night, again. She left yesterday evening and then rang this afternoon to ask if she could stay away another night because she was having so much fun.

The top photo rather confirms my suspicion that my youngest grandaughter is in fact an imp of mischief, if, as is obvious, a very charming and lovable one. Much love Pa and Granny.

Great disguise Strawberry, but I knew it was you, despite Miss T's lable on your bone-dome.

Cheer up Miss T - we all love your photographs and are very grateful to you for giving up a few precious moments of skiing for our benefit.

Bless you all,
GUC

I tried skiing once. I accidently bent down (into the racing position) and caused mayhem on the beginners slope and then shot across an 'experts' slope diagonally before falling over less than 20 yards from the bar.

Perfect.

You have beautiful daughters by the way. My daughter says so and I don't argue with Jax!

I much admire your athleticism PreacherMan - and your depths of wisdom - one can never win an argument with a female relation and one can lose so much!
But in any case I heartily endorse Jax's observations.

Are you missing Strawberry? Better get used to it:)

I miss her like I'd miss my right arm - and I haven't even met her yet Pi!

This is beginning to worry me. Has Strawberry come home yet? If not, when do you think we can expect her to turn up in England? Pi's remark "better get used to it" worries me. Are you harbouring her, Pi? Please all rePi as soon as possible to set our minds at rest. Love, Pa.

No no. Much as I regret not having a daughter I don't regret the teen- age years if they would be anything like mine - a real drama queen.
I share Crowbard's delight in the girls.

Ma+Pa, I can only agree, in fact I might go as far as calling her chimpish.

G.U.C. when you were stuck in on our chimney, she was there, I just hadn't realised it. She was the one turning me green at the thought of fish in white wine sauce.

P'man, I too am impressed... my first time I went from standing to flat on my back before getting anywhere.

Pat, she was missed, but her elder sister kept us entertained with card games and chess and a few tragedy queen impressions in between.

Darling Nea, thank you so much for that most welcome information. It may sound silly and fond but it does give me a real sense of connection to the chimpling to know she was lurking within while I was working without!

PS In case you are going to ask 'without what?' I meant outside on the roof. (but as it turns out also without a clue as to her presence.)

Great UC, we are always grateful for your work without and we were also clueless, we didn't cotton on for at least another month. Because of my lack of attention to inner details, her first due date was set for April 1st, this was later adjusted to the beginning of March. Thanfully your attention to the outer details was far greater and our chimney stands firm, inspite of chills and storms.
