In Swedish they call it "sucking the toffee" (att suga pa karamellen), making something good last as long as possible. Christmas Day was spent at mum's and dad's, together with my gran and my baby sister and her 3 children. On Boxing Day we all went out to watch the Hunt.

I think maybe we're 'sucking the toffee' by continuing to hold meets when hunting is illegal. Still it got us all out in the fresh air on Boxing Day morning so long may it continue; and perhaps some time in the unforseeable future we'll get a government with a bit of horse sense, so we can get the hunt back to work.
